As he adjusts to life at Manchester United, star Antony has moved into Paul Pogba’s former house.
After joining Manchester United from Ajax in the summer for £86 million, the 22-year-old scored in his debut last month in a 3-1 victory over Arsenal. In the Europa League, he appeared in matches against Real Sociedad and Sheriff, but he was unable to score.
The United faithful have clearly taken to the Brazilian, and he is quickly becoming a fan favorite, even though he has only started in two matches for the club. After Pogba and Harry Maguire, he is their second most expensive signing, after Maguire’s £80 million from Leicester.
The five-bedroom mansion of Paul Pogba in Hale Barns, Cheshire, has reportedly been Antony’s new home in Manchester, as reported by ESPN. Antony, who inked a five-year deal on deadline day, will be moving into the former’s house after he left United in June after six years with the club.
One of the house’s distinctive features is a staircase that is absolutely stunning, adorned with diamonds. The initials “PP” are engraved on Pogba’s personalised pool table. Even though Antony has promised to change it, it is still there as of right now.
Even though he has only been at Old Trafford for a short period of time, Antony has already made a significant impression, and he had always wаnted to join United after seeing Erik ten Hag join from Ajax. In evaluating his August transfer to Manchester United, Antony stated that he is driven to replicate that team’s success at Old Trafford.
This is a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to join one of the most legendary clubs in the world,” he stated on the club’s website. I am incredibly grateful to everyone who has had faith in me—my family, my coaches, and my teammates—because I would not have made it this far without them.
For my growth as a player, playing for Ajax under Erik ten Hag was ideal. What he has shared with me about his goals and aspirations in Manchester has inspired me, and his coaching and playing style has helped me perform to my best.
