Malcolm Brogdon, a former Boston Celtics player, never mentioned his home in Wellesley Hills, Massachusetts, a lush suburb of the city. Nonetheless, it sold for $4.525 million in less than a week.
Brogdon, 30, purchased the property—located in the upscale Cliff Estates neighborhood—in August 2022 for $4.4 million, according to records with PropertyShark. The point guard was traded to the Portland Trail Blazers in October after little more than a year with the Celtics.
The 7,323-square-foot property has an open plan with a living space with a double-sided fireplace and a kitchen with bar seating, bespoke wood cabinetry, Thermador appliances, a walk-in pantry, and a breakfast nook, as well as a family room. There’s also a formal dining room and an office behind the living room with a vaulted ceiling that shares the fireplace.
There are six bedrooms and seven bathrooms, including a primary suite with a gas fireplace, two walk-in closets and a bathroom with two vanities.
The finished lower level features a media room, a playroom with a kitchenette and a glass-enclosed gym. There’s also a mudroom with storage cubbies that leads to the three-car garage. Outside, a blue stone patio overlooks the manicured grounds.
