After living in the Venice neighborhood of Los Angeles for over 20 years, A-list actor Bradley Cooper has auctioned his enchantingly exquisite getaway for $2.4 million. According to property records, the Oscar-nominated actor paid less than $1.2 million for the 1920s cottage in 2004.
Due to its rich vegetation, which serves the dual purposes of concealing it from prying eyes and giving it a fairytale appearance, the two-bedroom house is highly secluded, which is a top-priority luxury for celebrities.
The natural beauty is preserved on the inside. Interior designer Santillana de Chanaleilles and Mr. Cooper, 48, collaborated on the room’s reclaimed wood ceilings and concrete floors.
Compass listing agent Diana Braun noted in an email, “This residence is unique.” The residence was listed for sale last week. Indoor/outdoor living is common in classic Californian architecture.
The central living, dining, and kitchen space has an expansive concrete breakfast bar and a fireplace, and French doors that open to the outside flood the house with natural light.
A glass wall in the main bedroom suite leads to the garden, providing access to the outdoors. A cathedral ceiling, a spa-like bathroom with terracotta tiles, a shower with a black metal frame, and a clawfoot tub are among the other attractions.
Ms. Braun emphasized the home’s outside features, which include a fire pit, a tub, and an outdoor sitting area, as the perfect location for people who value the California beach lifestyle.
The separate building at the back of the property is described as ‘the ideal bonus place for an office, home gym or living space’ in the ad.
