Dazzled by the Luxury Within Rihanna’s $21 Million Penthouse in Los Angeles

It’s possible that Rihanna and A$AP Rocky have outgrown their three-bedroom, 3,500-square-foot apartment in a luxurious Los Angeles skyscraper as the couple is expecting their second child.

To address this, the nine-time Grammy winner seems to have found a solution by moving to a penthouse on the 40th floor of the same building, a modern tower designed by renowned architect Robert A.M.

Stern, a member of the AD100 Hall of Fаme. Rihanna has been a resident of this building since 2014.

The Century City mansion, which the singer and businesswoman acquired for $21 million, is nearly twice the size of her previous one, spanning 9,290 square feet with 4 bedrooms and 6.5 bathrooms. The property was extensively renovated by designer LM Pagano and architect Scott Joyce before being sold by Friends actor Matthew Perry for $35 million in 2019. Afterpay co-founder Nick Molnar purchased the penthouse for $21.6 million in 2021 and listed it for just under $28 million the following year.

Rihanna appears to have strategically navigated the impending “mansion tax” in Los Angeles during the sale negotiation, completing the transaction just before the levy was imposed.

The penthouse offers breathtaking views of the city skyline through its numerous rows of windows and four terraces, one on each side of the building. The master suite is generously spacious, featuring two bathrooms, ample storage, and a separate sitting area with a fireplace. Additionally, there is a soundproof theater with tiers of seating.

In addition to the penthouse, the “Work” singer also maintains two nearby homes in Beverly Hills.
