Hadid’s bold personal style definitely extends to her colorful collection, so let’s look into each piece and its resale worth, beginning with the most valuable.
‘One of the most collectible bags in Gigi’s collection is the Louis Vuitton Cloud Trunk from the men’s AW20 Collection. The resale value of this piece is around £5,000,’ Toni says.
‘We also came upon a Louis Vuitton Multi-Pochette Accessories bag. The Louis Vuitton multi-pochette is a contemporary style and one of the most sought-after canvas pieces (which are becoming increasingly scarce as the brand reduces production quotas). The bag frequently resells for more than £2,000, which is more than the initial shop price.
Gigi obviously adores Prada. We see about five bags from the brand, each valued roughly £700 on the secondary market. It’s worth noting that Gigi’s Prada bags include both traditional pieces like the white Saffiano Galleria and quirky models like the white monkey print bowling bag.
The Chanel is up next. A light blue sequin classic flap and a smaller navy patent classic flap are available. These two bags are easily worth more than £3,000 each when resold.
Gigi’s selection demonstrates a definite preference for Versace. A fuchsia Le Medusa and a crimson Icon purse can be seen peeking out, retailing for roughly £1,400 and £1,100, respectively.
Next up, a sunny orange Miu Miu Dahlia Crossbody bag at resale price of around £700, a sprinkle of Valentino in the form of red VRING Saddle bag priced at approximately £500 upon resale and two Loro Piana Odessa bags which can easily fetch around £400 each within the resale market – if Gigi were hiding any Ostrich versions of this model she could expect to resell them at around £1,000 each.
Gigi’s collection isn’t lacking in the fun aspect – we see an adorable Loewe Elephant bag that can resell for roughly £500 (with larger editions worth over £1,000), as well as a Balmain Jacquard Monogram Clutch bag that resells for around £800.
Gigi’s collection is worth between £35,000 and £45,000 to us.
