Explore LeBron James’ impressive $103 million real estate portfolio

LeBron James has officially secured the title of the NBA’s all-time leading scorer. Last year, he etched his name in history by reportedly finalizing a two-year, $97.1 million contract extension with the LA Lakers, making him the highest-paid player in NBA history.

Renowned as one of the greatest players in NBA history, LeBron’s substantial earnings come as no surprise. Over the years, he has strategically invested a portion of his wealth in real estate, culminating in an extraordinary property portfolio for himself, his wife Savannah James, and their three children. The combined value of their impressive real estate holdings stands at a remarkable $103.9 million. Explore some of his stunning residences, both past and present, below.

Exploring LeBron James’ Real Estate Holdings.

Beverly Hills Residence of LeBron James.

In 2020, LeBron James added to his property portfolio with the acquisition of a vast 13,000-square-foot mansion in Beverly Hills. This impressive residence, consisting of at least four structures, was purchased for $36.8 million. Notably, the property has a rich history, having once belonged to Katharine Hepburn. LeBron acquired it from its most recent owners, Bill and Lee Phillip Bell, notable for co-creating the soap operas The Bold and the Beautiful and The Young and the Restless.

The Mediterranean-style residence, constructed in the 1930s, offers breathtaking views of Los Angeles and sits on a sprawling 2.5-acre estate. Featuring a spacious motor court to accommodate his numerous cars, the home comprises four bedrooms, eight bathrooms, vaulted ceilings, a screening room, seven fireplaces, and expansive walls of glass sliders to enhance the seamless indoor-outdoor experience. The exterior of the property boasts amenities such as a well-lit tennis court, two separate guest houses, a spacious swimming pool, and a pool house equipped with two bathrooms.

LeBron James’ Residence in Brentwood.

LeBron is the owner of two homes located in the suburban area of Brentwood in Los Angeles. One of these, acquired in 2017 for $24.5 million, seems to serve as his primary residence and is frequently showcased on his Instagram. Constructed in the same year, the house exudes a modern ambiance, featuring marble finishes in nearly every room.

Spanning just under 16,000 square feet, the residence comprises eight bedrooms and 11 bathrooms. Similar to his Beverly Hills property, this home emphasizes an indoor-outdoor connection, facilitated by floor-to-ceiling windows that seamlessly integrate the main living spaces with the expansive garden. Notably, one of the primary living rooms is adorned with full sliding glass doors.

The residence is equipped with numerous luxurious features, including a wine cellar, a game room featuring a pool table, a home theater, and a cigar room equipped with air-purifying technology. Additionally, it boasts a fully furnished gym that spans both indoor and outdoor spaces.

The gym is seamlessly connected to a spa area comprising a steam room, shower, sauna, and massage room. An elevator is available to transport occupants to the rooftop terrace, offering breathtaking views. Unsurprisingly, LeBron’s home includes a basketball court.

Outdoors, a sizable pool and another spa are strategically placed near the outdoor kitchen, complete with a barbecue and beer tap. Covered patios with marble floors and a spacious dining table add to the allure of the outdoor living spaces.

LeBron James’ Second Brentwood Residence.

In 2015, LeBron acquired a colonial mansion spanning 9,440 square feet for $21 million, marking his second property in the Brentwood area. The stone and white brick home, encompassing six bedrooms and seven bathrooms, reportedly remained largely unoccupied.

Internally, the residence features a double-height foyer, a breakfast nook with expansive windows, a state-of-the-art kitchen, a wood-paneled office, and a home gym. The master suite is highlighted by a two-way fireplace, a private sitting room, and a terrace. Exterior amenities include a stunning swimming pool, an open-air cabana, a three-car garage, and a basketball court.

LeBron parted ways with the property in 2021, selling it for $19.6 million, slightly below the initial asking price of $20.5 million.

LeBron James’ Residence in Ohio.

LeBron’s initial significant real estate investment dates back to 2003 when he joined the Cleveland Cavaliers. Acquiring a property in Bath Township, just northwest of Akron, for $2.1 million, he subsequently developed a sprawling 30,000-square-foot mansion on the expansive seven-acre plot.

The grand residence encompasses six bedrooms, with the master suite featuring a two-story walk-in closet, along with eight full bathrooms and six half bathrooms. Designed for entertainment, the property boasts a two-lane bowling alley, a home theater, a sports bar, and additional features like a recording studio, an aquarium, and even a barbershop.

Despite changing teams, LeBron retains ownership of the Ohio home. Following extensive renovations, its current estimated value is reported to be around $9.2 million.

LeBron James’ Residence in Miami.

Upon departing the Cavaliers for the Miami Heat in 2010, LeBron invested in a tailor-made, three-story mansion situated in Coconut Grove, Florida, for $9 million. While he owned it, the property provided him with enjoyment, featuring amenities such as an eight-seat home theater, a wine cellar, a backyard pool area, and a private waterside balcony adjoining the primary suite.

LeBron later sold his Miami residence in 2015, realizing a sale price of $13.4 million.
