According to TheRealDeal, the enormous 11,400-square-foot mansion has been bought by Bang Si Hyuk, the founder of HYBE, producer of the popular K-pop group BTS, and one of South Korea’s wealthiest businessmen. Forbes estimates that Bang Si Hyuk’s net worth is close to $2.9 bιllιon.
According to a review of multiple listing websites, Bang Si Hyuk paid about $26.4 million USD for the property on Stradella Road. The home’s initial asking price was 29.8 million USD, and Trevor Noah himself paid 29 million USD for it in 2020.
The home is a masterwork of contemporary architecture, designed by famous architect Mark Rios, the principal of the Los Angeles-based Rios architectural studio. Mark Rios is well-known for his iconic work on significant projects including the redesign of the Music Center in downtown Los Angeles and Grand Park in the city. Even in a 2017 issue of Architectural Digest, the mansion’s eye-catching design was highlighted, exhibiting its distinctive and opulent appeal.
