Zendaya’s Heartfelt Gesture: A Million-Dollar Mansion Gift for Her Dad
Zendaya loves her parents. Despite owning several homes, the internationally famous actress (“Euphoria,” “Dune,” “Spider-Man”) lived with either her father, Oakland native Kazembe Ajamu Coleman, or her mother Claire Stoermer until recently. The pair divorced in 2016 but remain “homies,” according to Zendaya.
The 26-year-old spent $1.9 miℓℓio𝚗 for a property for her father, following The Rock, Leonardo DiCaprio, and Beyoncé. West Hills, a San Fernando Valley community in Woodland Hills and Calabasas, is home to the spectacular mansion.
The two-story 1990s home sold for $1.1 miℓℓio𝚗 in 2008 and was refurbished. New hardwood floors cover the main level, which opens into a double-height lobby with pale periwinkle walls.
The formal dining room features French doors to the pool, and the living and family rooms have fireplaces. The renovated kitchen has an eat-in bar with white quartz counters and dark brown cabinets.
Two main-floor and three upstairs bedrooms make up the 3,400-square-foot house. The upstairs master suite has a sitting area, updated bathroom, and private balcony with mountain and city lights views. One of the downstairs rooms is an office.
Outdoor facilities include grassy front and backyards, a raised spa next to the pool, and a built-in barbeque center with bar seating.
A circular fire-pit for s’mores and a covered loggia offer outdoor relief from the San Fernando Valley heat. In an upmarket housing tract, $205/month HOA dues cover community security and park-like common facilities.
Zendaya also owns a New York City apartment and her first house, a Mediterranean-themed Northridge home. Her most expensive property is a $4 miℓℓio𝚗 Encino hilltop compound.
