Explore the Magnificent Mengi Yay Virtus Explorer XP 50m+ Superyacht

Mengi Yay’s 45-meter superyacht Aquarius was featured in the recent Hollywood blockbuster Glass Onion: A Knives Out Mystery, where it stole the show.

The luxury yacht builder is presently engaged in eight projects, with the Mengi Yay Virtus Explorer XP 50m+ being the largest. The more than 50-meter explorer is being constructed on spec at the Mengi Yay facility in Tuzla, Istanbul, with delivery scheduled for 2025.

VYD Studio is responsible for the exterior and interior aesthetics of the Mengi Yay Virtus Explorer XP 50m+ superyacht that is being built by Mengi Yay. She is anticipated to be just below 500 GT and provide accommodations for up to 10 guests and nine personnel.

The initial renderings of her interior spaces reveal a stylish, modern design with bold, organic shapes and patterns. The focal point of her main saloon is a cluster of teardrop-shaped settees that lend the room an informal air. Large port and starboard floor-to-ceiling windows flood the main saloon with natural light and provide unparalleled vistas.

In front of the saloon is a formal dining area with an oval table that seats 12 people and an opulent, contemporary chandelier. The cabins on the Mengi Yay Virtus Explorer XP 50m+ were designed by VYD Studio to adhere to the same design brief, ensuring uniformity onboard. Her master suite will be exquisite: forward-facing with a king-size bed in the centerline and a large expanse of curved glass that opens onto a private foredeck.

The Mengi Yay Virtus Explorer XP 50m+ features a helipad, pool deck, master bridge deck, guest main deck, gym, and tender stowage, among other notable amenities.

Twin Caterpillar engines will provide a maximum speed of 15 knots and a cruising speed of 12 knots for the Mengi Yay Virtus Explorer XP 50m+.
