Exploring the $6.25M California Residence That ‘Superman’ Star Dean Cain Left for Vegas

This sprawling Malibu home features an ocean view and a pool with a waterfall, but the luxury amenities were not enough to deflect this actor from his disdain for the state’s politics.

Dean Cain has recently crossed state lines to avoid California’s progressive policies, despite residing on a secluded hill overlooking the Pacific Ocean.

The 56-year-old actor, who played Clark Kent on “Lois & Clark: The New Adventures of Superman” from 1993 to 1997 alongside Teri Hatcher’s Lois Lane, has joined Kat Von D and Scott Baio in fleeing California for more conservative pastures.

“I cherish California. It is the most gorgeous province. Except for the policies, everything about it is superb. The policies are absolutely awful. The fiscal policies, the soft-on-crime policies, and the homelessness policies, the actor said this week on Fox News.

“The actions of our leaders in California have compelled everyone with the means to leave the state.” People are leaving the area in great numbers.”

The property he sold featured unobstructed ocean views from a private perch on a dead-end street.

Cain, whose other credits include the TV movies “The Dog Who Saved the Holidays” and “The Dog Who Saved Christmas Vacation,” and the 2014 direct-to-video release “Aeroplane vs. Volcano,” listed the property for $7.25 million in March and sold it for $6.25 million late last month, according to TMZ.
