Brooklyn Beckham and his fiancée, Nicola Peltz, are leaving their expansive Beverly Hills residence and moving to Florida.
The eldest child of David and Victoria Beckham and Peltz have listed the residence for just one dollar less than $11 million.
Specifically: $10,999,999.
The transfer occurs less than eight months after the couple purchased the 7,700-square-foot home for $10.5 million.
A source told People that the couple, who got engaged in July 2020, didn’t want a home with too many bedrooms and bathrooms (the one they’re selling has five bedrooms and seven bathrooms) and wanted to be closer to their families.
“They loved the house and are sad to be selling it, but they wanted to be more flexible and bicoastal,” a source told the publication. In order to be closer to their families, they desire a residence in both Los Angeles and Miami; therefore, a property of this size did not make sense in light of their more imminent future plans.
The source added that Brooklyn’s family “has a place in Miami,” whereas Nicola’s family “is in Palm Beach.”
After establishing a new football team, Inter Miami FC, in the city, David, age 46, paid a staggering $24 million for a penthouse in Miami’s One Thousand Museum Residences.
While Brooklyn, 22, and Nicola, 27, hope to earn a modest profit from the sale of their California home, they are searching for a residence in Miami.
According to the listing, their current residence in the Golden State is known as “The OM House” and is a “exceptional Architectural sanctuary.”
Located behind private gates in the affluent Beverly Hills Post Office area, it features walls of glass for a “seamless indoor/outdoor” flow.
It is described as a “museum-like” residence with natural, exotic wood and stone throughout. The master suite includes a private retreat with a lounge, dual walk-in wardrobes, and an outdoor bathing spa with a private staircase leading to the rooftop terrace.
The hotel features a “white crystal quartz massage room,” a dry sauna, a steam room, and a media area among its luxurious amenities.
