Unveiling the 120m Trimaran Concept by Sam Sorgiovanni for Echo Yachts

Sam Sorgiovanni has collaborated with Echo Yachts and One2three naval architects to design a 120-foot trimaran.

This innovative superyacht design seeks to maximise the interior space afforded by the trimaran’s 20-metre beam.

The expansive and adaptable interior provides numerous living spaces. Key characteristics include a rotating master stateroom, a private owner’s deck with outdoor entertaining areas, and a superyacht swimming pool.

Both the exterior and interior dining areas of the 120-meter trimaran could accommodate all 26 passengers at once. With a touch-and-go helipad on the foredeck and a second helipad on the sundeck, two helicopter decks enable guests to arrive in style. The communal amusement areas feature an indoor cinema, swimming pool with counter-current, Jacuzzi, fitness centre, and leisure.

Two gull-wing style doors provide access to tender stowage on the foredeck, while the crew quarters can accommodate up to forty crew members. Echo Yachts adds that the generators will be installed in the outer hulls in order to reduce noise and vibration levels on board.

A hybrid diesel-electric propulsion option is available, and zero-speed stabilisers further enhance the sense of comfort and luxury on board. This 120-meter trimaran concept is intended to attain a maximum speed of 20 knots and a range of approximately 5,000 nautical miles.

Other projects presently in development at Echo Yachts include the 84-meter trimaran White Rabbit, which will be one of the world’s largest aluminium superyachts when it is launched in 2018.
