Mark Morrison owns a stylish Florida mansion for $1.8M

Mark Morrison, the British R&B vocalist whose 1996 single “Return of the Mack” topped the charts, recently paid $1.8 million for a stylish home in Palm Beach Gardens, Florida.

The property, which was initially listed for $2.35 million in August, had experienced several price reductions prior to Morrison’s acquisition of it at a substantial discount. Excited about his accomplishment, the singer shared the news on Instagram, writing, “Ten years ago, I was destitute… Today, I paid cash for a $2 million residence.”

The 50-year-old musician plans to use his new Florida residence with three bedrooms as the headquarters for his record label, MackLife Records. The home is the smallest in the desirable Gardenia Isles community, measuring 3,489 square feet.

According to Craig Heger, the listing agent for Echo Fine Properties, Morrison had been interested in this neighborhood for roughly two years. He explains, “There are only 21 homes in the development.” Mark made an aggressive all-cash offer, establishing a record for the most expensive home ever sold in the neighborhood, despite the property being the smallest. It sold for $515 per square foot after only three weeks on the market, compared to previous sales ranging from $290 to $380 per square foot.”

Gardenia Isles is proud of its lack of club membership fees and its location in Palm Beach Gardens, which provides easy access to highways and neighboring Palm Beach, where Morrison is often spotted.
