Orion Yachts is beginning its fleet with elegance.
The industry newcomer, situated in Yalova, Turkey, has just unveiled a stunning new superyacht that is anticipated to hit the water next year. The debut model, appropriately named Orion One, spans 141 feet and is both contemporary and stately.
The young team deftly recruited a pair of reputable studios to bring Orion One to life. The interior and exterior were designed by Red Yacht Design, while Alfa Marine Engineering was responsible for the naval architecture. The Orion One has a steel displacement hull, an elegantly extended bow, and an aluminium superstructure.
Red Yacht Design’s Fatih Surekli said in a statement, “We are delighted to reveal the first glimpse of our newest creation.” “The exterior images of the 141-foot motor yacht encapsulate the spirit of luxury and adventure that our clients seek.”
With an interior volume of 480 metric tonnes (GT), Orion One provides ample accommodation onboard. According to Orion, she is also filled to the capacity with luxurious amenities. The team has not yet released any interior renderings, but they have stated that the living accommodations will feature a spacious owner’s suite, four thoughtfully designed guest cabins, and a glitzy sky lounge.
There is also enjoyment to be had outdoors. The aft decks are outfitted with plush loungers, while the foredeck features a massive sun pad and U-shaped lounge. Not to be outdone, the sundeck features a stylish outdoor dining area in front and a cascade that flows into a plunge pool in the rear.
The yacht will be propelled by two Cat C32 engines capable of producing 1,450 horsepower, but no information is available regarding its range or speed.
With each project, Orion aspires to exceed the expectations of its discerning clientele by designing and engineering yachts that stretch the limits of design and engineering. It appears to be off to an excellent start.
Orion One’s construction at Yalova’s Hersek shipyard began in 2022 and is anticipated to conclude in the summer of 2024.
