Oscar-winning actress Gwyneth Paltrow has listed her luxurious Montecito, California, guesthouse on Airbnb, giving a fortunate fan and a guest of their choosing the opportunity to stay on the expansive $5 million property.
Although Paltrow, 50, referred to the residence as a “beautiful little guesthouse,” it is anything but small.
Located in the backyard of her 14,000-square-foot primary residence, the founder of Goop recently gave her Instagram followers a tour of her self-designed “sanctuary for rest and mental clarity.”
“Welcome!” she exclaimed as she entered the guesthouse’s spacious and inviting living room, which featured wood-and-white furnishings, a wood-burning fireplace, a “cute little bar,” and a stylish kitchen table.
The loft-style second story of the house overlooks the living room, which is conveniently located next to the modern, open kitchen.
Despite having only one bedroom, the flat is quite spacious. The first-floor accommodations feature a plush queen-size bed with gold accents, vaulted ceilings, and enormous windows that let in an abundance of natural light.
The bedroom features a marble bathroom with a soaking shower, gold fixtures and the health guru’s “favourite Goop products.” In addition, guests will experience a spa day during their stay.
“When you leave, your skin will be better than when you arrived,” Paltrow promised.
The casita also features a wine room with a large dining area, which Paltrow invited her guests to enjoy with a “fantastic, cosy” chef’s dinner and a bottle of their choice.
The residence also features expansive double doors that open to a private patio that overlooks a verdant and sunny oasis.
The actress explained that her visitors can “have a nice swim” in her Olympic-sized pool.
The property, which the “Se7en” actress and her husband, Brad Falchuk, purchased in 2016, is also in close proximity to a number of beaches and countless hiking trails.
