The Material Girl has a lavish lifestyle. According to the New York Post, Madonna has purchased The Weeknd’s luxurious Hidden Hills estate. She paid $19.3 million for the opportunity.
And the luxurious property hits all the appropriate notes for an international celebrity. In 2017, the vendor, born Abel Tesfaye, paid $18.2 million for the spacious 3-acre estate in the celebrity enclave.
In June of last year, the “Can’t Feel My Face” singer put the home on the market for $25 million. The property was last listed for $22 million in December, prior to its sale to Madonna, after a series of price reductions.
The ultraprivate residence is located in a prestigious gated community west of Los Angeles, surrounded by redwood trees, grassy meadows, and hills.
The estate features a seven-bedroom main house, a two-bedroom guesthouse, and a sophisticated interior on a total area of 12,547 square feet.
Enter a hall with double-height ceilings and a window wall spanning two stories. White and cheerful interiors feature the living and dining rooms, a double-island chef’s kitchen with breakfast nook and a bar. There are pocket doors leading to the courtyard.
With two master suites, the primary bedroom on the upper level features a fireplace and private balcony. In addition, there is an office, an opulent glass wine room, a home theatre, a fitness studio, a five-car auto gallery with neon lighting, and a barn.
The outdoor area features a pool, spa, pavilion, and an integrated barbecue.
The property offers “the utmost privacy and seclusion,” which a global musical star would undoubtedly value. The location is close to the Malibu coast and downtown Calabasas.
