Bradley Cooper’s Enchanting Venice Retreat: A Hidden Gem in the Heart of Los Angeles

A-list actor Bradley Cooper has offered his enchantingly lovely retreat in the Los Angeles neighborhood of Venice for $2.4 million after living there for over 20 years. Property records show that the Oscar-nominated actor paid under $1.2 million for the 1920s cottage in 2004.

Due to its rich vegetation, which serves the dual purposes of concealing it from prying eyes and giving it a fairytale appearance, the two-bedroom house is highly secluded, which is a top-priority luxury for celebrities.

Inside, the aesthetic of nature is maintained. Santillana de Chanaleilles, an interior designer, and Mr. Cooper, 48, worked together to create the room’s reclaimed-wood ceilings and concrete floors.

Listing agent Diana Braun of Compass wrote in an email that “This residence is unique.” Last week, the house went up for sale. Indoor/outdoor living is prevalent throughout the classic Californian architecture.

The central living, dining, and kitchen space has an expansive concrete breakfast bar and a fireplace, and French doors that open to the outside flood the house with natural light.

Access to the outdoors is provided by a glass wall that leads to the garden in the main bedroom suite. Additional highlights include a cathedral ceiling, a spa-like bathroom with terracotta tiles, a shower with a black metal frame, and a clawfoot tub.

Ms. Braun emphasized the home’s outside features, which include a fire pit, a hot tub, and an outdoor sitting area, as the perfect location for people who value the California beach lifestyle.

The separate building at the back of the property is referred to in the ad as ‘the ideal bonus area for an office, home gym or living space’.

A request for comment from the actor, whose career includes “The Hangover,” “Silver Linings Playbook,” and “A Star Is Born,” did not receive a prompt response.
