Rick Ross’s most recent real estate acquisition is remarkable not only because of its celebrity pedigree, but also because of its record-breaking return on investment. The native of Miami recently paid $3.5 million for Amar’e Stoudemire’s South Florida mansion in an all-cash transaction that closed in just four days, the quickest closing in the annals of the gated community where the residence is located. The property, owned by the former NBA all-star for more than a decade, features a 7,361-square-foot main residence, a 1,314-square-foot guest house, and a nine-car garage.

The main home is a single-story structure with 10-foot ceilings, white marble floors, and coffered ceilings, as well as four bedrooms and five-and-a-half bathrooms. A chef’s kitchen, a hidden movie theatre, an interior bar area with a pool table and a yoga room provide numerous gathering spaces for friends and relatives. The guesthouse features two bedrooms, one restroom, a kitchen and a living area.

Ross’s other residence, a 12-bedroom mansion in Atlanta, recently made headlines as the primary filming location for Coming 2 America. The mansion, with its staggering 109 rooms and 45,000 square feet, served admirably as a stand-in for a palace in the fictitious nation of Zamunda. “They changed the wallpaper in the dining room, so I asked them to keep it,” Ross told Variety of the changes made to his home by the set designers. “They also crafted the enormous table for the dining scene, which accommodates 50–60 people, and gave it to me as a gift. It is enormous.”
