Kaizo R34 Nissan Skyline GT-R Used By Paul Walker In Fast & Furious 4

GT-A International has announced that it will auction off the one-of-a-kind Nissan Skyline GT-R R34 used in the production of the fourth Fast & Furious film.

Universal Studios commissioned Daryl Alison of Kaizo Industries to modify and create a one-of-a-kind vehicle for the filming of Fast & Furious 4. Not only did the studio have input into the design of the vehicle, but so did Paul Walker, who reportedly requested that it lack decals because he did not want to operate a “sticker bomber.”

With only 3,728 miles (6,000 kilometres) on its odometer, the Bayside Blue Skyline was and is a fully functional vehicle. The only authentic Skyline GT-R R34 used for filming; the other camera vehicles were built from modified ER34 body shells.

Given his contribution to the design, it is perhaps not surprising that Walker’s favourite vehicle was this one. Therefore, GT-A International chose to declare the auction today in honour of the late actor’s birthday.

The vehicle’s engine is a 2.6-liter straight-six with dual overhead valves, twin turbochargers, and a Getrag six-speed manual gearbox. It features a Turbonetics front-mounted intercooler, Nismo lowering springs, a custom roll cage, an ARC titanium strut tower bar, 1911 Volk Racing RE30 rims, Rotora six-piston front brakes and four-piston rear brakes, a NISMO version II bumper and side skirts and much more.

However, the new owner will need to be approximately the same size as Walker, as the car’s seat configuration was designed to fit the actor during filming. In addition, it is equipped with a Windows PC, an MFD Xenarc Display, and ECU-programmed gauges.

In addition to auctioning off the car, GT-A International took the time to perform a comprehensive 3D scan of the vehicle, which it will also auction off as a non-fungible token (NFT). As part of a joint event, it will be sold alongside collectibles and guaranteed original digital fan items.

The vehicle is on exhibit at GT-A racing’s Motorworld Munich booth. The proprietor has stated that the auction will take place in the fourth quarter of 2022, although an exact date has not yet been determined.
