The Monaco-based yacht design company Pastrovich Studio has unveiled X-Prime, a new concept for an 80-meter superyacht that seeks to combine “elegance, simplicity, and sophistication.”
The concept centres on putting “life on board” front and centre, and as a result, there is a singular owner-exclusive deck at the yacht’s core.
Instead of emphasising the creation of a single expansive area, the designers have opted to create distinct zones for enjoyment. The result is a series of interconnected spaces for lounging, studying, and dining that provide private space without sacrificing a sense of community. The design studio added, “This is suitable for large families cruising together and using the yacht for extended durations.”
The owner’s suite is located on the upper deck with a private balcony and panoramic views, whereas the guest accommodations are on the main deck with direct access to the main salon aft and the apartment deck above.
Furthermore, the X-Prime concept is distinguished by its expansive sea terrace. Both sides of the terrace are exposed, providing uninterrupted views of the ocean.
“We cannot disregard a yacht’s true function,” the studio stated. “That is, to provide an experience at sea that is unavailable on land.” It is a platform that allows us, the viewers, to see the world in all its colours, noises, and textures.”
Other recent designs by Stefano Pastrovich, the engineer responsible for Wally’s power range, include the 92-meter X-Ballet and the 48-meter X-Alien.
