Arsenio Hall’s Exquisite Mansion Buying Spree Continues! Get a Glimpse of His Dazzling New Home
Now that he has paid $5.2 million for a modern farmhouse-style residence in the Calabasas area of Los Angeles, Arsenio Hall’s amenity-filled mansion in the San Fernando Valley suburb of Tarzana has, predictably, been listed for sale.
Records indicate the 66-year-old actor, comedian, and former talk show host — best known for “The Arsenio Hall Show,” which aired from 1989 to 1994, as well as his roles in the films “Coming to America” and “Harlem Nights” — is asking slightly less than $5.3 million for the contemporary estate, or roughly $1 million more than he paid “NCIS” actor Sean Murray for the property just a year ago, shortly after it was built.
On a flat parcel of land measuring over a third of an acre, concealed behind walls and gates, is a white stucco and dark brown-trimmed structure with a capacious motorcourt and three-car garage. Once inside the 12-foot-tall double front doors, approximately 6,500 square feet of two-story living space with hardwood floors, high ceilings, designer lighting, and floor-to-ceiling Fleetwood glass sliding doors are comprised of six bedrooms and seven bathrooms.
Open-concept interiors feature a grand entryway with a floating staircase concealing a wine closet, a formal dining area that connects to a living room highlighted by a linear fireplace embedded in a wood accent wall, and doors leading to a covered terrace ideal for outdoor entertaining. An adjacent gourmet kitchen features custom cabinetry, two oversized quartz islands with cascading edges, high-end Thermador appliances, and a walk-in pantry.
Upstairs, a spacious master retreat features a marble fireplace, private balcony, two walk-in closets, and a huge bathroom with a standalone wet room featuring a soaking tub and shower; and elsewhere in the home, there is a movie theater and a flex space that can be used as an office or a lounge area. A turf-covered backyard featuring a zero-edge pool and Jacuzzi with a Baja ledge, sport court, barbecue and kitchen setup flanking a fire pit steals the show. In addition, there are two guesthouses, one of which is presently used as a gym, Control4 automation, and solar panel systems.
