Justin Bieber’s Custom ‘Floating’ Rolls-Royce Wraith Was Inspired By The 103EX Concept

A video detailing the creation of Justin Bieber’s one-of-a-kind Rolls-Royce Wraith by West Coast Customers has been released a few weeks after the vehicle was first observed.

West Coast Customs may be best known for its participation in the Pimp My Ride television series in the early 2000s, and it continues to build some fairly wild vehicles to this day. The Wraith it constructed for Bieber is one of the company’s most ambitious undertakings to date.

The CEO of West Coast Customs reveals that the vehicle was influenced by the 2016 all-electric Rolls-Royce 103EX concept. In fact, Bieber desired to purchase it due to his admiration for its design. Unsurprisingly, the British automaker refused to sell their one-off design concept, so West Coast Customs built the famous singer a vehicle inspired by the 103EX.

West Coast Customs shortened the Wraith by 8 inches and enlarged it by 12 inches to create the unique vehicle. Once the design was complete, a 3D scan of the Rolls-Royce was performed and custom body panels were then manufactured. It was then the responsibility of the company’s bodywork specialists to refine the vehicle’s shape before it was painted in a combination of silver gloss and grey matte.

Possibly the most notable aspect of the vehicle’s construction are the wheel covers that give the car the appearance of floating. West Coast Customs also spent a substantial amount of time customising the interior and installing a JL Audio stereo system that is vastly superior to the car’s original audio setup.
