Goal! Alexis Sánchez Strikes Big with a Stunning Miami Condo Acquisition

Alexis Sánchez of Inter Milan has recently acquired a luxury condo in Miami, prompting rumours that he will join David Beckham’s Inter Miami CF.

It turns out that the two athletes have more in common than Florida’s sunny beaches. Although Sánchez is currently playing for Inter Milan, the 31-year-old Chilean national team player is presently under contract with Manchester United, Beckham’s former club. At this point in his career, it makes sense for him to relocate to the $2.45 million condo in Sunny Isles Beach, where 70 of the possible 212 units have been sold, as reported by The Real Deal.

It is believed that Sánchez will be able to purchase a two-bedroom, three-bathroom condominium with the developer’s undisclosed prices. The tower features a private club level on the 33rd floor, a rooftop pool, a children’s club, a spa and wellness centre, a pet grooming area, and a beachfront restaurant.

Sánchez, who has recently struggled with injuries and form, will also be near to another former teammate, Lionel Messi of Barcelona. The Argentine superstar paid $5 million for a condo in the adjacent Porsche Design Tower in Sunny Isles Beach last year.

The Chilean media has speculated on the destiny of their all-time leading scorer with 43 goals. Before returning to Italy to be near his club in anticipation of a return to training, Sánchez was under quarantine outside the country’s capital, Santiago. However, he has distanced himself from rumours relating him to Inter Miami, stating that he is still capable of playing in Europe. According to reports in the UK’s Sun newspaper, he is unwanted by both Manchester United and Inter Milan, so a transfer to Miami is possible.

Beckham, the owner and president of Inter Miami CF, and his wife Victoria recently spent close to $20 million on a condominium in downtown Miami’s futuristic, Zaha Hadid-designed One Thousand Museum luxury tower.

The Fortune International Group and the Chateau Group developed the Ritz Carlton tower, which was designed by architect Bernardo Fort-Brescia of Arquitectonica. Compass’s Lourdes Gutierrez and Gene Martinez are the listing agents.
