The England midfielder is expected to sign for £130million this week or next.

The £105m upfront and £25m add-ons are a substantial rise from Dortmund’s £30m payment to Birmingham three years ago.

Bellingham’s father Mark negotiated a six-year deal with Real Madrid two years ago.

The ex-Birmingham City star preferred a transfer to Spain over Manchester City or Liverpool, who withdrew due to cost.

The Daily Mail reports that “his family have already begun the process of ensuring he will settle in Madrid” since Bellingham has lived abroad since joining Dortmund at 16.

His “representatives have started inspecting apartments” in the city before announcing his arrival in the coming weeks.

Madrid’s president Florentino Perez reportedly told Carlo Ancelotti that his top transfer target was almost certain.

Ruhr Nachrichten reports that Bellingham sent Dortmund goodbye gifts following their tragic Bundesliga championship loss last weekend.
