Rapper Wiz Khalifa has listed his three-year-old Encino home for $4.5 million in the San Fernando Valley in the hopes of scoring a hit.
The listing is not shocking because the Grammy-nominated hip-hop artist invested $7.62 million on a little larger space a few miles distant last month.
This one was purchased by Khalifa for $3.4 million in 2019, a year after it was constructed. The 5,875 square foot home, which is advertised as having “transitional modern architecture,” catches the eye with a stylish facade made of rich wood and white stucco.
The interior features a two-story floor plan with clear lines, spacious rooms, and lots of glass. A family room with a 100-bottle wine bar, a chef’s kitchen with a waterfall island, and a two-story foyer with a floating wood staircase all sit beneath 25-foot ceilings.
Six bedrooms, 5.5 bathrooms, an office, a lounge, and a theater area were also painted by Khalifa while he was there. He also added a basketball court next to the guesthouse to the backyard’s array of amenities.
A terrace protrudes from the house’s back, providing views of the Santa Susana Mountains and providing access to the grounds’ quarter-acre patio, fire pit, pool, and spa.
The listing is held by Brian Capossela of Cap Equity Realty and Alan Taylor of Compass.
Since 2006, Khalifa, actual name Cameron Thomaz, has released six studio albums, including his first, “Show and Prove,” and his most recent, “Rolling Papers.” Among his top singles are “Black and Yellow,” which reached No. 1 on the Billboard Hot 100, and “See You Again,” which was used in the movie “Furious 7.”
