Slam Dunk! Spencer Dinwiddie Dribbles His Way into an Exquisite Calabasas Mansion

Spencer Dinwiddie is still successful off the court despite the fact that his Dallas Mavericks were eliminated from the NBA playoffs this season following a heartbreaking Game 5 Western Conference Finals defeat to the Golden State Warriors. Not only is the 6’5″ guard living large due to a three-year, $54 million contract, but he also recently closed a $26 million funding round for his Los Angeles-based cryptocurrency company, Calaxy.

His latest recording? A brand-new contemporary Craftsman-style mansion situated in an exclusive gated enclave of 26 properties between Malibu and Calabasas. Originally listed in December for nearly $7.7 million, the price was reduced to $7.2 million before being purchased by a 29-year-old Los Angeles native for $6.9 million.

The newly acquired estate of Dinwiddie is concealed at the end of a long, gated driveway, atop a 1.4-acre promontory. According to the listing, the dark beige and white-trimmed structure was constructed in 2021 by “one of the most experienced and meticulous builders in Southern California,” and it features a motorcourt and an attached four-car garage.

Inside, there are five bedrooms and seven bathrooms spread throughout 6,400 square feet of living space with high ceilings, red oak hardwood floors, and Italian lighting. Multiple terraces and porches offer seamless indoor-outdoor environments and panoramic views of the Santa Monica Mountains.

A wooden front door crowned by a stone-columned portico and lit by gas lanterns opens to an entryway with a winding wrought-iron staircase. From there, the living room features a floor-to-ceiling stone fireplace, a wet bar with wine storage and a wood-beam ceiling.

In addition, there is a formal dining room and a cosy family room with a fireplace that is connected to a sleekly designed gourmet kitchen with an expansive eat-in island, butcher-block island, and Gaggeneau appliances. Glass pocket doors lead to an outdoor dining and entertaining terrace with a fireplace.

There is also an office/media room on the main level, and the approximately 1,000-square-foot master suite features a fireplace, sitting area, balcony, walk-in closet, and a luxurious bathroom with dual vanities, a two-person shower, soaking tub, and distinct makeup area. This floor also features four additional bedrooms with private bathrooms and a parlour.

The private resort-like facilities feature an infinity-edge pool and spa, an outdoor kitchen, a fire pit conversation area with ascending steps to a gazebo, and an infinity-edge pool with a spa. In addition, there is a Crestron smart-home system for good measure.
