Unveiling the Enchanting 111m Superyacht Concept “Eleuthera” by Azcarate Design

The Italian studio Azcarate Design has unveiled its new Eleuthera 111-meter concept.

Eleuthera’s fluid, aerodynamic exterior was inspired by “the most marvellous creatures of the sea,” such as tiger sharks and humpback whales. The vertical windows are intended to approximate gills, while the “stingray-finned” Sat-com, undulating aft deck, and reverse bow contribute to the vessel’s unique profile.

Juan Cayo Azcarate’s history as a professional racing car driver and the design studio’s studies of sports yachts in the 15-22 metre range, which they “maximised” when conceptualizing Eleuthera, allegedly provided additional automotive inspiration.

Up to 22 visitors are accommodated in 11 cabins, including a 235-square-meter owner’s cabin with a panoramic viewing window, two private staircases to the main deck, and a terrace with 360-degree views of the ocean. There is additional capacity for 31 crew members.

The interior renderings depict a contemporary, airy aesthetic with floor-to-ceiling windows, geometric skylights, and monochromatic, low-profile furniture.

The main deck features a marble-clad pool, lounge and dining areas that can be converted into a dance floor and an open-air cinema, and a dance floor. The upper deck forward features a helipad in addition to an additional al fresco dining area, while the space beneath the helipad is devoted to a large tender garage that can house a 12.2-meter speedboat and three service tenders.

The extended stern and transom of Eleuthera provide ample sunbathing seating and direct access to the interior bar and garage. Additionally, the beach club can be transformed into a saline pool.

The superyacht is envisioned to have a top speed of 27 knots and an impressive range of 7,000 nautical miles for transatlantic voyages. With a draft of 4.5 meters, it could also navigate the modest bays and anchorages of the Bahamas, its namesake.
