The ‘Terrifying’ Mansion of Russell Westbrook That No One Dares to Own – What’s the Truth Behind?

NBA star Russell Westbrook has sold his Westside home after moving into Formula One racing heiress Petra Ecclestone’s mansion, which is located across the street from his Lakers teammate LeBron James’ home.

The Brentwood Park mansion was purchased by Ben Belldegrun, the son of Arie and Rebeckah Belldegrun, for $25 million, according to public documents. Westbrook and his wife Nina Earl had bought their new home in May 2018 for $19.8 million.

The three-story Ken Ungar-designed home sits on a walled and gated half-acre corner property, boasting an all-white stucco facade with masonry and wood accents. The “modern traditional” mansion offers six bedrooms, eight bathrooms, and features hardwood, tile, and stone flooring, unique moldings and woodwork, high ceilings, and large windows in a spacious 13,400 square feet.

A double-height entrance leads to formal living and dining spaces on the first floor. The gourmet kitchen with marble slab countertops, a center island, and high-end stainless equipment is accompanied by a breakfast nook adjacent to a family room with a wet bar, and glass doors that open to a covered patio with a fireplace.

The underground level of the mansion boasts additional living spaces, including a family area, another wet bar, a temperature-controlled wine room, a sumptuous movie theater, a gym, and staff quarters.

The park-like grounds of the property offer a pool, jacuzzi, sundeck, kitchen, and barbecue for outdoor gatherings. The front of the house features a large motor court and a three-car attached garage.

With these impressive features and amenities, it’s no wonder that the property fetched a considerable sum from its new owner.
