Gladstorm Kwabena Akwaboah, alias Akwaboah Jnr, a talented highlife/afro pop singer, composer, and producer, will release his new single, “Posti Me.” He has written songs for gospel and circular artists.
On Sunday, May 17, Akwaboah will release “Posti Me” on iTunes, YouTube, Spotify, Boomplay, and other digital platforms.
The mid-tempo danceable highlife-afro pop tune is party-ready.
Akwaboah is pushing his new track on social media, download sites, and mainstream media.
“Nsroma,” “Naadu,” “Hye Me Bo,” “I Do Love,” “Hold Me Down,” “Love Unfair,” “Forget,” “Obiba,” “Number One,” and “Blow My Mind” are among his hits.
In 2009, he composed “Daa Ke Daa” for Becca and “Ayeyi Ndwom” for Kofi Sarpong, establishing his musical style.
At the 2010 Ghana Music honors, Akwaboah received Songwriter of the Year for “Daa Ke Daa.” Both songs earned artiste honors. “Best in Me” was his 2012 Efya song.
After years of honing his craft, Akwaboah released his debut song, “I Do Love You,” which received national and international attention.
Akwaboah is a talented keyboardist. Hugh Masakela, John Legend, and others have performed with him.
