Doja Cat, the popular TikTok meme queen turned international pop music sensation, has decided to sell her Los Angeles home just a year after purchasing it. The property, which she bought for $2.2 million in February 2021, is now listed for sale at just under $2.5 million, allowing her to make a slight profit.
Located on a secluded road off Mulholland Drive, high up in the untamed mountains above Beverly Hills, the house underwent some changes during Doja Cat’s ownership. She installed a large wooden gate to separate the driveway from the main road, ensuring privacy and security. The property is also equipped with cameras and an alarm system.
Upon entering the house, it is apparent that most of the rooms have been emptied and staged, indicating that Doja Cat has already vacated the residence. However, fans will recognize the interiors from her frequent Instagram and TikTok live sessions. The main level features a combined living, dining, and family room with glass walls, whitewashed ceilings and walls, and a midcentury modern fireplace that may date back to the 1960s when the house was built. There is also a sleek kitchen with curved cabinetry, quartz worktops, bar seating, and high-end stainless steel appliances.
On the main level, you’ll find two guest bedrooms, one of which opens up to the pool area through glass doors. The other guest bedroom was personally decorated by Doja Cat and transformed into a pastel-pink “glam room.” The entire second floor is dedicated to the penthouse-level master suite, featuring a spacious bedroom, a long row of wall closets, and a gray bathroom with a concrete bathtub.
Although the property occupies a modest 8,000 square feet, it offers a heated plunge pool in the backyard, along with various built-in lounging areas, concrete decks, and young olive trees. The driveway provides two parking spaces, in addition to a two-car garage.
