Exclusive Opportunity: Janet Jackson’s Central Park-Facing Home up for Grabs

Iconic singer and songwriter Janet Jackson is putting her New York City residence, which overlooks Central Park, on the market for $8.99 million. According to reports and the listing brokerage, Jackson has decided to part ways with the property.

Jackson, the younger sister of the late pop legend Michael Jackson, has been the owner of this stunning abode at 1 Central Park West since 1998 when she purchased it for $2.8 million. The residence spans 2,094 square feet and boasts three bedrooms, three full bathrooms, and a half bathroom.

While representatives for Jackson did not respond to The Post’s request for comment on the listing, a spokesperson stated that she has not been at the apartment since 2019.

In a statement given to the Wall Street Journal, Jackson expressed her fondness for the home, saying, “Whenever entering my apartment of 25 years, I always treasured my home’s wonderful location and the breathtaking views that capture the magic and excitement of New York. Stepping through its threshold instantly made me feel so tranquil and at peace—so many memories.”
