Did Justin Bieber Just Purchase a Unique Porsche 968 for His Birthday?

On March 1, Canadian singer Justin Bieber observed his 29th birthday. A week earlier, however, he posted a series of images that could have suggested he bought himself an early birthday gift.

In addition to a picture of himself in front of a Vespa store displaying his collaboration scooter line, Bieber added an image of a customized Porsche. The vehicle is based on a Porsche 968 and produced by L’Art de l’Automobile in a single unit.

Given how uncommon and exclusive this vehicle is, it wouldn’t be surprising if Bieber received it for his birthday. With a net worth of $285 million, he could afford it without a doubt. And these were some of the online allegations that were circulating.

Did he truly purchase this one-of-a-kind Porsche?

Despite what Supercar Blondie claimed in a recent article, it turns out that the photo Bieber posted was a random one, and it does not indicate that he possesses the vehicle.

Wednesday, March 1, L’Art de L’Automobile made this plain via a social media post. The French label stated, “I repeat, we did not sell our 968 and we never will.” The same message continued, “We only produced one 968 L’ART, and it is not for sale,” and concluded, “Please stop the rumors.”

The vehicle was a collaborative effort between Porsche and Arthur Kar’s L’Art de L’Automobile to commemorate the 30th anniversary of the Porsche 968. The 968 was the last front-engine coupe produced by the sports car manufacturer. From 1991 to 1995, it was available in both coupe and cabriolet configurations.

The collaboration endeavor was completed over the course of 18 months and debuted at Paris Fashion Week in 2021. Reimagining the retro era with a modern inspiration, the Porsche 968 L’ART lacks a roof, features a completely redesigned front end and headlights, and flaunts a custom-created hue of green. The interior features bespoke bench seats upholstered in EL3 leather, a Bose custom audio system, and dash-mounted Tag Heuer timepieces.

The location identifier in one of the photographs posted by L’Art de L’Automobile indicated that the automobile was in Malibu, California. There, Justin could have admired it and taken a photograph of it.

Although he did not purchase this particular Porsche, Justin Bieber’s garage is never devoid of vehicles.

His collection includes a custom Lamborghini Aventador S, a Lamborghini Urus, a Rolls-Royce Wraith, a Mercedes-Benz G 550 4×4 Squared, a Mercedes-Benz SLS AMG, a Cadillac CTS V-V Coupe “Batmobile,” a Mercedes-Maybach S 650, a Fisker Karma, a custom Mercedes-AMG G 63, and a custom Ferrari 458. West Coast Customs, his frequent collaborators, were responsible for updating the majority of his vehicles.
