Unveiling Pitbull’s Jaw-Dropping Custom Karma Hybrid Masterpiece

Armando Pérez, better known as Pitbull, will auction off one of his prized hybrid vehicles this weekend in an effort to raise money for charity.

The vehicle in question is a 2022 Karma GS-6 that was built specifically for Mr. 305. It has even been dubbed the 305 Edition, a reference to the singer’s moniker and the area code from which he originates, 305. For those unaware, the Grammy-winning musician honed his skills in the coastal city before becoming a self-made billionaire worth approximately $100 million. As expected, his preference for luxury automobiles has also grown.

This particular high-end four-wheeler, which will be auctioned off by Barrett-Jackson in Scottsdale on Saturday, incorporates several “personal touches” by Pitbull. In fact, according to the auction house, it is one of the most customized and one-of-a-kind Karma vehicles ever produced. You can anticipate special emblems and door sills engraved with “Mr. 305,” as well as two motivational quotations on the dashboard. One states, “The greatest risk you can take is to take no risk at all,” while the other states, “Patience, passion, and perseverance equals success.”

Aside from Pitbull’s embellishments, the GS-6 is an impressive sedan. It features a 1.5-liter three-cylinder DOHC turbocharged engine designed for the BMW i8 as well as two motors fueled by a 28 kW lithium-ion battery pack. This provides the 5,000-pound plug-in hybrid with a potent 536 horsepower and 550 lb-ft of torque, as well as a range of 360 miles. According to the manufacturer, it can be entirely charged within 36 minutes.

Barrett-Jackson did not provide an estimated hammer price, but a standard GS-6 will cost around $100,000. The best aspect about this sale is that all proceeds will be donated to the Selfless Love Foundation and the SLAM Foundation. Selfless Love is a non-profit organization that works to improve the child welfare system, whereas SLAM seeks to improve education in underserved communities.

The 305 Edition is not the only celebrity vehicle available this weekend. On Saturday, Barrett-Jackson will also auction off Burt Reynolds’s iconic 1977 Pontiac Firebird Trans Am. You can therefore ride like the Bandit or the Pitbull, depending on your preference.
