This is not a typical C8 Chevrolet Corvette Stingray, nor is the proprietor typical for a Corvette. This Chevrolet Corvette actually belongs to NBA player Jordan Clarkson and was modified by Champion Motoring in San Diego, California.
A Gloss Ivory coating makes this C8 immediately distinguishable from every other vehicle on the road. It is unknown what color the car was when it left the Chevrolet factory, but the wrap drastically modifies the appearance of the mid-engined sports car, as it covers nearly all exterior surfaces, including the Z51 package rear spoiler and the side air vents.
In addition, Clarkson’s Corvette rides on a set of staggered-size Forgiato rims measuring 21 inches in front and 22 inches in the rear. The vehicle is also equipped with the optional 5VM carbon fiber aero package, which adds a unique front splitter and distinct side skirts. A dark tint makes the car even more noticeable.
The exterior of the vehicle is devoid of vibrant hues, but the interior is not the same. In fact, the interior is adorned with Morello Red upholstery that contrasts beautifully with the exterior wrap.
Corvette Blogger observes that Chevrolet does not offer the C8 Corvette in a shade identical to Gloss Ivory, but in the late 1970s, the ‘Vette was available in a very similar hue called Light Beige.
