Because there is no other explanation for why a prestige coupe such as the Bentley Continental GT would have such a design. Unless Lil Uzi Vert is certain, undead are approaching. Or perhaps he has watched too much of ‘The Walking Dead’ and ‘The Last of Us’.
His previously updated Bentley Continental GT with its off-road appearance is now unrecognizable as a luxury vehicle worth over $200,000. If Lil Uzi Vert encounters an undead, as Will Ferrell did in the Netflix and GM commercial promoting electric vehicles, he will have everything he needs. And the height of opulence.
The modified vehicle debuted at the Philadelphia Auto Show and was available at Car Effex’s booth, which also managed its modifications. The establishment, founded by Michael Layton in 2002, has been responsible for all of Uzi’s wild customizations to date. It is located in Sewell, New Jersey, approximately thirty minutes from Uzi’s hometown of Philadelphia. And they went all-in on this preposterous undertaking.
The exterior of the Bentley Continental GT, which was previously matte army green, now appears to have been in the desert for years. It has an enormous bulbar under its black grille, what appear to be rusty chainsaws protruding from its front bumper, and a roll cage made of exoskeleton.
In fact, these are not the only additions visible on this iteration. In addition to the one on the roof next to the spare tire, there is one on the driver’s side mirror that appears to be an uzi submachine gun. It also includes a set of pillows on top of the hood, which gives me the impression that the rapper was attempting to create a military barricade-like effect.
The coupe is reportedly armored, and the customizer’s name is displayed on the top of the windshield. Stephen Sharer, whose Mercedes-AMG G 63 “Spy Wagen” was also on display at the auto show, claims that the interior of Lil Uzi Vert’s Bentley is lined with crocodile skin.
The spare tire was part of the “off-road” appearance that the prestige car had acquired over the years. It also featured a lift package, massive fender flares, and a roof-mounted LED light bar.
Very likely, we won’t see Lil Uzi Vert driving this car around. So, we will accept the situation as is and concede that the customization is indeed intriguing. And it is precisely the type of modified vehicle you would want to display at a car show. Or when the end of the world occurs.
