NB102, the second vessel in Ada Yacht Works’ 50-meter 50Z series, has begun construction at the Bodrum shipyard. Aqua Marina Yacht sold the 497GT vessel, which will follow in the footsteps of hull one, which began construction in February.
Both vessels were created by Uldas Yacht Design and feature a straight bow, a full displacement hull, and clean exterior lines that lead to a cascading aft deck. Ginton Naval Architects is responsible for the naval architecture, Norse Design for the engineering, and Sahinler Denizcilik for the interior design.
There will be space for up to 12 passengers in six cabins, plus ten crew members. NB102 was constructed with two owner’s cabins, a departure from the design of the first unit. The first suite is located forward on the main deck and features a private balcony, Jacuzzi, and oversized windows that provide ocean views from bed.
The second owner’s cabin is located on the upper deck aft and overlooks a private terrace with loungers, a Jacuzzi and a bar. With Luca Dini’s contemporary, airy interior design, all rooms feature expansive windows that allow for naturally light interiors and panoramic views from various areas on board.
A beach club in another location features a plunge pool and hydraulic wings. The wings, once deployed, will expand the beach club area over the water, which is surrounded by loungers, a bar and a Teppanyaki area. On the foredeck of the NB102 is a second swimming pool surrounded by immovable sun pads. A novel addition to the lower deck of this model is a convertible fitness centre.
Upon completion, the second hull’s twin 1,335hp engines will allow for a maximum speed of 15 miles. She is anticipated to arrive in June 2025.
