Central Yacht геᴠеаl Groundbreaking Orchid 100 Concept, Redefining Luxury on the High Seas

Hong Kong-based design firm Central Yacht has unveiled the Orchid 100, a 30 metre superyacht concept designed specifically for the Asian market.

The design features a number of amenities typically found on much larger vessels, such as a lift and spiral staircase from the guest staterooms to the sun deck, ensuring that all family members have complete accessibility.

Paul Brackley, the founder of Central Yacht, said of the Orchid 100, “In our region, many owners would like to upgrade to a yacht with more luxury, more space, easier access for older relatives, and more safety for their family, but they are limited by the size of the available marina berths.

“Now, with our knowledge of local requirements, we have incorporated many of the characteristics of a 60-meter yacht into a 30-meter package.”

The concept is available in three variations, allowing owners to choose between a full-width master cabin on the main deck or three- and four-cabin versions with a spacious media area on the main deck.

In addition, there is a 690-square-foot primary saloon with a bar and abundant soft furnishings. The “cut-open” superstructure of Central Yacht’s design allows for additional deck space and an upper deck with a Jacuzzi and sun loungers.

The foredeck of the Orchid 100 features sun pads and circular built-in seating with panoramic vistas. The concept is anticipated to have a maximum speed of twenty knots and a range of 1,500 nautical miles.

Brackley continued, “We can design a yacht with a beautiful design, reliable and efficient technology, and minimal crew that is easy to maintain.”
