Kevin Olusola, a Grammy Award-winning Beatboxer, bought a stunning Westlake Village property

Pentatonix has improved greatly over the past decade. The trio has published many EPs and full-length albums, performed tributes on multiple award shows, and gone viral after their duet with Dolly Parton on “Jolene” was broadcast on “The Voice.” This collaboration earned Pentatonix their third Grammy.

Pentatonix beatboxer Kevin Olusola married longterm lover Leigh Weissman in a two-day ceremony last year. Since then, the devoted Christian, born in Pasadena to Nigerian immigrants but raised in Kentucky, has bought a $2.8 mιllιon home in Westlake Village, a family-friendly enclave an hour north of Downtown Los Angeles.

Olusola’s new home, built in 1979 but significantly refurbished in 2018, is on a serene hilltop cul-de-sac with panoramic views of the surrounding hills and hiking paths. The double entrance doors open into cream-colored parquet floors in the foyer after a brick walkway past the three-car garage. LaCantina foldaway doors provide seamless indoor/outdoor living and stunning views of the rolling hills beyond the great space.

The large great room has a linear fireplace and built-in cabinets. The listing calls the attached kitchen a “gourmet chef’s fantasy kitchen” with an expensive Ann Sacks tile backsplash, SubZero and Wolf appliances, and Caesarstone counters. The formal dining room contains a butler’s pantry, an icicle chandelier, fabric walls, and a white stone fireplace. The main floor has a guest bedroom suite, laundry room, and living area with a modern bar.

The second level has four more bedrooms, including a huge master suite with a fireplace, lounging area, two vanities, and a glass steam shower. The main landing has a big terrace with sunset views over the pristine hills.

A brick-and-concrete terrace surrounds the backyard’s hexadecagonal pool and Jacuzzi. Epoxy garage flooring, a Sonos audiovisual system, Lutron motorized window coverings, and recessed LED lighting round out the home.

Olusola, 32, owns a three-bedroom townhouse in Hawthorne’s gentrifying gated community. The advertisement states that this home, which was purchased for $850,000 in 2016, is in escrow and seeking fallback bids at $999,000.
