Cantieri di Pisa, an Italian shipyard, has announced that the 25.49-meter 80 Veloce yacht is presently under construction, with an anticipated delivery date of summer 2023. The construction of the carbon-fibre-infused motor yacht commissioned by an experienced proprietor began in January 2023.
The vessel 80 Veloce was designed by automobile designer Etienne Salomè, and its interior and exterior details were created by Redaelli Associati. The yacht is also the first vessel to be constructed at Cantieri di Pisa following the company’s rebranding.
The 80 Veloce will feature a large open cockpit that transitions seamlessly into an interior lounge area; however, the configuration and layout of her staterooms have yet to be determined.
The 80 Veloce yacht is equipped with an LED light that illuminates the yacht’s entire profile, from the head to the superstructure. This distinguishing feature is anticipated to become the Cantieri di Pisa’s future design signature.
Recent research and development efforts at Cantieri di Pisa have concentrated on weight reduction and its effects on performance and fuel economy. The manufacturer drew inspiration from America’s Cup sailing vessels to design a high-performance motor yacht.
At a cruising speed of 50 knots, the 80 Veloce yacht’s triple 2,000-horsepower v12 MAN engines will provide a range of 300 nautical miles. She should also have an impressive maximum speed of over 60 knots at half load.
