Lazzarini Design Unveils Astonishing 85m Superyacht Concept with a Futuristic Twist

Lazzarini Design has unveiled a concept for an 85-meter superyacht with landing capacity for two helicopters.

The concept, named Icaria, draws inspiration from the studio’s ‘Shape’ design, which was unveiled in October 2021.

A key feature is a glass-enclosed bridge that provides the proprietor or captain with expansive views of the ocean. Two pairs of stairs descend from the bowsprit to the foredeck, which has been left unfinished for customization.

Similar to Shape, Icaria has a large ‘cavity’ in the superstructure that houses a massive bar. The “open main deck” makes use of the concept’s 15-metre beam and is left unfinished for owner customization.

The upper deck aft provides space for the landing of two helicopters, and below that is a beach club with staircases leading down to the water’s surface and space for sun loungers.

Two foldable side doors provide access to the water from the tender compartment, which is located on the aft portion of the lower deck.

It comes after Lazzarini Design unveiled Embryon, a concept 24-meter tender with a carbon-fiber superstructure.
