In 2012, Nasir “Nas” Jones was up to his ears in tax debt and had even lost his well-known Georgia residence to foreclosure. But things are looking up for the legendary hip-hop artist these days. Not only did he win his first Grammy for the rap album “King’s Disease” earlier this year — after no less than 14 prior nominations — but he also just moved into a $3.5 million mansion on the semi-rural fringes of Calabasas.

The structure, which was originally listed for $2.5 million, was custom-built in 2007 and features four bedrooms, 5.5 bathrooms, and over 6,500 square feet of living space with soaring ceilings, arched doors, and limestone floors.
